The nutritional value of 1 kg of grass granules is 0.8 feed units, while 1 kg of hay is 0.4 units. The carotene content of granules can be up to 20 times higher so as vitamins and protein. With a long storage time, the difference in the feed value increases. Depending on the animal type, grass granules can be used as the main feed or as an additional source of nutrients. For example, grass can constitute up to 80% of cattle, horse, and sheep diet and 10-15% of the pig one.
Alfalfa granules are a highly nutritious natural protein-vitamin feed for farm animals. It is a pure product low in sugar and high in protein, fiber, and vitamins, without any chemical additives. Alfalfa pellets are great for cattle, horses, ponies, sheep, goats, rabbits, and other animals.
Alfalfa granules are qualitatively different from hay, haylage, and silage due to their higher nutrient content and high concentration of metabolic energy. Adding them to the diet of animals and poultry improves the microflora. It also enhances the growth and performance of livestock and poultry.
